Mark T. Hurt

Kingsport car accident lawyer, Mark Hurt, is a native Bristolian who earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. After graduating from UVA, Mark went on to earn his law degree from Duke University, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. Prior to returning to the Tri-Cities area and opening his own law firm, Mark practiced law with large litigation law firms in Dallas, TX and Washington, D.C.

The Law Offices of Mark T. Hurt have five locations in Virginia and two locations in Tennessee. Clients can depend on Mark aggressively advocating for them no matter what legal issue they are faced with. In his more than 25 years of practicing law, Mark has successfully represented hundreds of clients in numerous types of legal cases.

He has extensive experience in representing clients who are facing reckless driving charges, speeding, CDL violations, or other traffic ticket issues. Mark also has obtained financial compensation for clients who suffered injuries in vehicle accidents and other personal injury accidents, as well as families of victims killed in wrongful death cases.

Clients who are dealing with workers’ compensation issues, Social Security disability, and probate and estate planning problems know that Mark will work diligently to get them the best possible outcome based on the circumstances of their case.  

Not only is Mark a proficient negotiator, obtaining settlements for clients that range from thousands to multi-millions, but he is also a skilled litigator who has even argued two cases in front of the United States Supreme Court.

Mark lives in Abingdon, Virginia with his wife and family and enjoys playing tennis when he has the opportunity.
